Gracie was born and raised in Liberia. But Due to the initial stages of potential civil war ethnic divisions, ongoing corrupt political system and economic disparities people began to flee in fear that a civil war was about to irrupt. Gracie then made travels plans packed an overnight bag and fled the country to the United States with just 200 dollars in her pocket. Once here Gracie attended college and worked at Chase Manhattan Bank in the municipal bonds department. She later on worked for the State of Massachusetts, U Mass University Hospital and eventually owned a health foods store. Because her love for the Lord, Gracie also completed two years of biblical studies to equip herself to disciple others. However, even with all of her accomplishments in the United States, Gracie’s heart was on the children of Liberia.
