Learn By Doing

Currently the children at Yes Children’s Ministry are being cared for by the Riche’s, and 2 local pastors and their wives. So the first priority is to create a stable living environment for the children to meet their basic living needs and to provide a loving home- like living environment to reach their goals.

Phases/Stages to accomplish these goals are prioritised including the following:

We also provide humanitarian aid as well as the gospel to children and local villagers. Our hope is for the children our next future generation would grow up and have a potential life and a bright future. Our desire is to build a solid foundation based on Jesus Christ, love, education, character development, advocacy, and identifying their own strengths and interests.

About Graciene Riche

Gracie was born and raised in Liberia. But Due to the initial stages of potential civil war ethnic divisions, ongoing corrupt political system and economic disparities people began to flee in fear that a civil war was about to irrupt. Gracie then made travels plans packed an overnight bag and fled the country to the United States with just 200 dollars in her pocket. Once here Gracie attended college and worked at Chase Manhattan Bank in the municipal bonds department. She later on worked for the State of Massachusetts, U Mass University Hospital and eventually owned a health foods store. Because of her love for the Lord, Gracie also completed two years of biblical studies to equip herself to disciple others. Over the years Gracie has continued her biblical and pastoral studies. However, even with all of her accomplishments in the United States, Gracie’s heart was on the children of Liberia.
